Duration of Program: 3-6 months
Typical Duration of Program: 3-6 months
Dates: Fall and Spring

Description: This program begins with volunteering in Fiji with the local villagers in a fairly isolated part of the island. From there, you'll travel to New Zealand for the next 5 weeks and volunteer working on an organic farm, volunteer working with a Maori community environmental project, engaging in "free travel," and taking part in a weeklong outdoor leadership course. From there, we'll travel to Australia and volunteer in the outback, live with Tibetan nuns for a week studying Buddhism, and getting SCUBA certified on the Great Barrier Reef.

This program is three months of small-group dynamics where students will learn a great deal about themselves and their world. We'll explore the authentic sides of the cultures we visit and through appropriately pushing comfort zones you'll be challenged to grow.
